September 4, 2017: “Gaudium et Spes 2017: Catholic Institutions with Labor Unions”
While a few Catholic colleges have made headlines recently for fighting the organizing efforts of their adjunct faculty, hundreds of other Catholic employers across the United States enjoy constructive relations with their union-represented workers. Every Labor Day, the Catholic Labor Network releases a new and updated “Gaudium et Spes” list of more than 500 Catholic institutions employing union labor.
