Labor Day Mass
Please join us in-person in Washington, D.C. for a Labor Day Mass on Sunday, September 6. Cardinal McElroy will celebrate Mass at 11:00 am at St. Matthew’s Cathedral and you are cordially invited to attend the reception immediately following Mass.
We also invite you to organize a Mass in your parish! Please register your Mass below. Upon registration, you will receive a liturgy aid and a flyer template to aid in your preparation.
As we receive information about Labor Day Masses across the country, this will be added to an interactive map!
Economic Justice and a Commitment to the Future

Join CLN for a Labor Day webinar (2 days after Labor Day) as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the U.S. Catholic Bishops’ pastoral letter, “Economic Justice for All,” and it’s continued relevance for today.
First, we will ground ourselves in the history and background of “Economic Justice for All.”
Then, we will hear an honest assessment of where we are regarding economic justice today, particularly as people of faith.
Finally, we will discuss connections between the 1986 pastoral letter and Pope Leo’s new encyclical, Magnifica Humanitas.
