Listening to Labor: A Synodal Gathering on Work and the Laity

Please join us for a listening session focused on work and the laity. This is part of a nationwide consultation to assist the U.S. bishops as they discover how the People of God understand the baptismal identity and co-responsible mission of the laity within Church and society.

Your feedback will be shared directly with those at USCCB working on a new pastoral document on the laity.

We have one final session on Friday, October 24 from 2:00-3:15pm Eastern. This is a closed session open to union members only.

If you are a union member and would like to attend, please email info@catholiclabor.org!

Dorothy Day: Radical Devotion

October 1, 2025

On the Feast of St. Therese of Lisieux, we learned about Dorothy Day, another holy woman bound for sainthood, who took great inspiration from the Little Flower. Keynote speaker, Jeffry Odell Korgen, is the author of Dorothy Day: Radical Devotion, and coordinated the local phase of Dorothy Day’s canonization process for the Archdiocese of New York.

The event was held at St. Paul Catholic Church in Phoenix, AZ on Wednesday, October 1 beginning at 5:30 pm MST with Mass, followed by dinner and the keynote.
